BIOGRAPHY

I am a Chinese born, Singapore raised artist currently studying first year in the Parsons school of Design, New York City. I aim to major in Communications Design, and minor in Photography. My creative passion is strongly correlated to the exploration and experimentation of techniques, mediums and materials. My work reflects a personal understanding of religious, political and social issues. Growing up in China, I have always felt displaced, as I struggle to understand the mindset of the collective parties.  I was educated in a Western context, however was taught Chinese history and literacy. Western culture allowed me to explore my freedom and creative objectives.

I aim for my artworks to strike as powerful and impactful. I wish for the viewers to use my art as a reflection of their own philosophy and feelings.
